- Hands down… a winner

I am returning customer after a more inferior experience with an earlier Pad and Quill case (bought the Case Vol 1 for the iPad 1… that's another story). I decided to give it another try after a tedious search for a case for my daughter's Kindle Fire. She goes to a school that allows the use of the Kindle for books and some text work. I felt it was crucial to find a case that would allow protection and security for the investment. This case did not disappoint… Winner! The leather is of much superior quality compared to the original I bought from them -- the bonding is impressive as I think they afforded minimal comtribution to the bulk of the case. The wood frame is also improved because it is noticed to hug the device to provide maximum protection from slidding out of the frame. Folding the cover over was the ultimate test for me… this is where P&Q failed on my first case… No disappointment this time, the seams are holding without losing the ability to spring back to it's book cover form even after a prolonged time of being folded over. I think the elastic band was intended to keep the cover held in the folded form… But it was nice to find out that it facilitated a trick to support holding the case with minimized effort. Just slip the second and middle finger between the folded over covers (held by the elastic band) keeping the thumb against a part of the frame, and ergo! It functions as a "clip" over 2 fingers!!!
Daughter loves it so much, she wants a Cartella case for her 11" Air is next. Waiting on the next sale… : )Price Value Quality
