"The tome-like bindings might actually fool some into thinking this is a real book and not a highly valuable piece of consumer electronics" -Stephen D., iPadaccessories.com

We have new STRONGER bindery cloths this year that far exceed our past models in durability. Many of the higher end features are included in this bindery classic including our signature bookmark!

Review by Mill City Marc
As a working bookbinder, even the finest leather binding materials will degrade with time. Book cloth, like any material will start to crack with hundreds of repeated openings and closings along the groove. A book normally doesn't get opened and used as much as these cases do. Visit a library and you will know what I am talking about. There are ways to repair this with a special hinging tapes. (Disclaimer I have no affiliation with P&Q whatsoever). (Posted on 8/1/14)

I can't say how much I adore this case, it's perfect, light, and I love that it looks like a notepad. The case has been super functional, it's the only thing I carry my iPad mini around in, but only a year after purchasing it, it is ripping at the seams. For $60, I would have expected it to be more durable. The only reason it doesn't get all 5 stars from me. (Posted on 7/30/14)

When I bought my iPad mini, the first thing I wanted to do was find a case for it that looked like a book. I had recently read a review about Pad and Quill and I decided to buy the Graduate case. The case looks beautiful and I was especially impressed with the Smart Cover feature that turns off the screen when you close the cover of the book. The case is very durable too, though unfortunately, the binding had begun to rip along the seams. (Posted on 3/12/14)
